Rights of victims of torture and ill- treatment inAfrica-PARI

On the 1st to the 2nd of October 2015, the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) held a regional consultation on redress. Its aim was for Pan African Reparations Initiative (PARI) to input and comment on the General Comment on Redress. The meeting brought together representatives from various civil society organisations from nine African countries. These were Angola, Chad, DRC, Ivory Coast, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
